Coronavirus: KARD protests against assault on doctors, nurses in Karnataka
Condemning the assault and abuse on resident doctors and nurses on duty, Karnataka Association of Resident Doctors (KARD) association members protested wearing black bands
Bengaluru: Coronavirus (COVID-19) victims’ relatives and family members abused and assaulted doctors in various parts of Karnataka. On Friday (July 24), Karnataka Association of Resident Doctors (KARD) demanded action against offenders and protection to discharge their duty without fearing for their lives.
Condemning the assault and abuse of resident doctors and nurses on duty, the association also sought arrest and legal action against people involved in the attack on doctors in Bengaluru, Belagavi, and Bidar hospitals.
The association members protested wearing black bands in all state-run and private hospitals across the state.
