Amid rise in COVID-19 cases, Bengaluru corporator buys 20 oxygen cylinders for his ward

As the community spread of COVID-19 has been reported in Bengaluru, the BBMP corporator and opposition party leader in BBMP council has got 20 oxygen cylinders to ensure his ward people who are in dire need of oxygen supply can make use of them

Bengaluru: The fear of community spread of the coronavirus and many patients complaining of breathlessness, to ensure they get oxygen supply till they are shifted to a hospital during emergency, BBMP Opposition leader Abdul Wajid has procured 20 oxygen cylinders exclusively for his ward. According to sources, the opposition which realised in 'preach what you practice' policy, stopped indulging in politics during emergency, and Abdul Wajid got these oxygen cylinders.

As his ward Manorayanapalaya has higher number of minority voters and many have no access to quality health care, to ensure they get at least oxygen supply until they are shifted to hospital during emergency, these oxygen cylinders were purchased.
