Union Budget 2021: 'Budget is comprehensive and on target'

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's Union Budget 2021 has received positive reviews.

Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman's Union Budget 2021 has received positive reviews.

"Budget is growth-oriented, consumption-oriented. The budget gives impetus to manufacturing. This budget encourages bringing in advanced technology to India," said Sandeep Singh, Chairman CII Karnataka 

"It's a very comprehensive Budget. Women in all jobs can now work in night shifts with adequate safety measure will give a good boost and opportunities for women to work. The Budget will also give a boost to women entrepreneurs," said Shirin Salis, Vice President, Trane Technologies

"Directionally, Budget is on target. A lot of money has been allocated for infrastructure. Overall, it's a great budget," said Kedarnath Choudhury, CFO of KLAY.

"The Budget had increased announcements on infrastructure. The Budget has made it easier for start-ups to set up one-man companies and then convert into regular companies," Suneeth Katarki, partner at Indus Law said.
