Apple has selected September 14 as the date for its highly anticipated iPhone 13 and Apple Watch Series 7 presentation. The event will be entirely virtual and will be a webcast live from Apple Park. The tagline for Apple's September presentation is "California streaming."

Apple's event on September 14 will begin at 10 a.m. PT/1 p.m. ET. Because of the COVID-19 outbreak, Apple held their annual September event virtually for the second year in a row.
The event will be live-streamed on Apple's website, YouTube channel, and the Apple TV app on September 14.

We expect Apple to formally unveil the iPhone 13 during this year's September Apple event. The next iPhone is likely to have several new features. Changes rumoured include a reduced notch, improved cameras, ProMotion 120Hz display technology, and more. The Apple Watch Series 7 is also expected to be unveiled on September 14. The Apple Watch Series 7 is shaping to be a significant improvement, with an all-new design and a giant touchscreen. Having said that, rumours indicate that Apple is experiencing production problems, which may significantly limit availability.

Apple is reportedly working on new AirPods, which may be unveiled at the September event. The AirPods 3 are expected to have a similar design as the AirPods Pro but without changeable ear tips. A new iPad mini and an entry-level iPad are also likely hardware announcements. Expect no new Macs to be unveiled at the September presentation, as Apple will most likely save those for a separate event in October or November.

Finally, we expect Apple to reveal the formal release dates for its next wave of software upgrades at the event. iOS 15, watchOS 8, and tvOS 15 are all included. macOS Monterey, on the other hand, is unlikely to arrive until later this fall.
