Shocking video: Bengaluru policeman headbutts person in clash

Bengaluru: A shocking video of policeman headbutting a person during a scuffle on Infantry Road on Saturday has come to light. The incident occurred during the election of Gulistan Shadi managing committee.

The election saw a mass gathering of people including supporters and campaigners on the streets. The situation soon turned volatile and the argument between police and public ensued when the police tried to clear the street after clashes between candidates. The gathering pushed back in retaliation which is when sub-inspector Kiran of Commercial Street Police Station as seen in the video, tried to ward off the gathering by intimidation. However, he took it a step further when he headbutted one of the members of the committee. 

The masses protested by calling it "rowdyism" by police.
