Rebel MLA Ramesh Jarkiholi returns to Bengaluru, spotted at airport

Ramesh Jarkiholi was spotted in Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport on the intervening night of February 12 and 13.

Bengaluru: Many days after reports of four Congress MLAs going “incommunicado,” Ramesh Jarkiholi, was seen exiting Bengaluru's Kempegowda International Airport on the intervening night of Feb 12 and 13.

Speculation is rife that Ramesh Jarkiholi and Mahesh Kumathalli will join the Congress in the upcoming days. The return of the rebel MLA comes after Congress leader Siddaramaiah tweeted stating that he has sought the disqualification of the four MLAs, Ramesh Jarkiholi, Mahesh Kumathalli, Nagendra and Umesh Jadhav, under the anti-defection law.

The four MLAs gave the CLP meeting on January 18 and also failed to appear on many occasions to show their support to the Congress at a time when the BJP was allegedly trying to topple the Congress-JD(S) coalition.
