Cabinet expansion: Protest erupts at Bengaluru Congress Office

Supporters of former minister Ramalinga Reddy protested before the Congress office on Queens Road today. Supporters led by former Mayor N Manjunath Reddy allege that senior Congress leaders in the party side-lined Ramalinga Reddy who has won seven times previously. The supporters urged the party to give the former minister a post in the cabinet expansion. The eight ministers appointed in the expansion will take oath at 5:20pm today.
