Bengaluru’s Race Course Road to be renamed after actor Ambareesh
Actor Ambareesh breathed his last on November 24. The BBMP planned to rename certain properties in Bengaluru after the actor, in honour of his contribution to the Kannada film industry and the welfare of the people of Karnataka.
Bengaluru: The Bruhat Bengaluru Mahanagara Palike (BBMP) decided to rename the famous Race Course Road as Ambareesh Road in honour of the actor who died of a cardiac arrest on November 24. The Race Course in Bengaluru was one of the favourite places of the legendary actor Ambareesh. Apart from this, it is also been said that the BBMP has received requests to name either a building or the BDA layout in ward number 197 after the actor.
