Cops fire at two rowdies accused in BJP leader's murder
Bengaluru: KR Puram Police shot two rowdies on their legs when they fired at the police jeep chasing them. KR Puram inspector Jayaraj shot Appu alias Naveen, Giri alias Girish when the duo fired at the police van at Sonnenahalli, Kadugodi police station limits in Bengaluru. Constable Muniraju was injured in the firing. The two were also accused in the murder of KR Puram BJP leader Srinivas. They were trying to loot the people travelling in private vehicles after midnight. The injured are being treated at Kadugodi Government Hospital.
