West Bengal: Patient jumps from fourth floor of hospital
A shocking incident took place at a private hospital in Behala on Friday morning. A patient under treatment jumped from the fourth floor of the hospital. However, the reason why the patient jumped from the fourth floor is still unknown. Behala police have started investigating the incident.
Kolkata: A tragic incident took place at a private hospital in Behala on Friday (October 9) morning. A patient under treatment jumped from the fourth floor of the hospital. The hospital authorities were unable to understand why the patient jumped.
According to reports, Dilip Bera, 66, was admitted to a private hospital in Behala for hernia operation on Wednesday (October 7). He underwent surgery on Thursday (October 8). The patient has been undergoing treatment in the hospital from Wednesday. Witnesses claimed that the patient jumped from the fourth floor of the hospital on Friday (October 9).

According to reports, the window glass of the hospital room where Dilip Bera was undergoing treatment was broken. The hospital authorities claimed that the patient himself broke the glass of the window and jumped from the fourth floor.
Although the patient got several injuries in his body after falling from the fourth floor of the hospital, he did not die. Dilip was rescued by the staff of the private hospital in critical condition. Presently, the patient is undergoing treatment. However, the reason why the patient jumped from the fourth floor is still unknown. Behala police have started investigating the incident.
