With Presidential elections scheduled and a highly polarised environment, political debate in the US is unlikely to remain neutral and balanced after the Orlando killings.

The ISIS has claimed responsibility for the shooting rampage carried out by 29-year-old Omar Mateen. Mateen, an American citizen, was born to immigrant parents from Afghanistan. It was reported that ahead of the rampage, Mateen in a 911 call had pledged his allegiance to ISIS.
Orlando shooting was one of the worst killings in US’s recent history that killed at least 50 people.
The Republican presidential probable Donald Trump, who has openly criticised liberal immigration policy and Islamist terrorism, criticised the incident in a series of tweets.
The Republican probable in his tweet targeted President Barack Obama for not using the term “radical Islamic terrorism” for the shooting incident in the LGBT club. Trump went on to demand Obama’s resignation over the issue.
Although unverified, in another tweet, Trump claimed that Mateen shouted "Allah hu Akbar!" while firing at clubgoers.
The real estate mogul went on make another claim that a second man was arrested in Los Angeles near the Gay parade. The police however have denied any links with Orlando shooting.
Trump did not spare Democratic presumptive presidential nominee Hillary Clinton either. He tweeted if Hillary Clinton, after this attack, refrains from using words “Radical Islam” she should get out of this race for the Presidency”.
"Last night our nation was attacked by a radical Islamic terrorist. It was the worst terrorist attack on our soil since 9/11 and the second of its kind in 6 months. My deepest sympathy and support goes out to the victims, the wounded and their families," he said.
"If we do not get tough and smart real fast, we are not going to have a country anymore. Because our leaders are weak, I said this was going to happen and it is only going to get worse. I am trying to save lives and prevent the next terrorist attack. We can't afford to be politically correct anymore," Trump said.
