Actor Dileep takes bus for a cause!
As usual, the bus stop at the High Court junction in Ernakulam city was buzzing with activities when the passengers saw a familiar face all ready to board a private bus. Actor Dileep joined a short trip from there till Vypin to raise fund for kidney replacement surgery of a 29-year-old Unni George.
"It is said little drops of water make the mighty ocean. If each one of us contributes whatever we could, we could save a life and a family," Dileep said the actor who took the first. Hibi Eden MLA joined him in the short charity trip.
George was awaiting kidney transplant after both his kidneys failed and needed around Rs.10 lakh for that. Local people and activists of Kerala Students Union started fundraising, and the owner and the staff of the private bus decided to contribute a day's revenue and remuneration to the fund. Dileep joined the first trip of the bus and contributed first. The passengers joined in.
