It seems winter is taking a little break. The intensity of the cold has reduced quite a bit. The biting cold has subsided in all southern districts. So, has winter left the state? The weather office gave a big update, revealing whether winter will return to Bengal.

According to the weather office, there won't be much change in the minimum temperature for the next seven days. Fog will dominate all districts of the state until Saturday. In some districts of North Bengal, visibility may drop to 50 meters. A yellow alert has been issued there.

According to the weather office, there won't be much change in South Bengal's minimum temperature for the next seven days. The state's minimum temperature will be 13 degrees Celsius, and the maximum will be around 24 degrees.

Meanwhile, the weather has changed since Monday. The minimum temperature on Monday was 12°C, and on Tuesday, it was 13.3°C. There won't be much change in the minimum temperature today either. However, there's no forecast for the cold to decrease. The chill will last until the first week of Magh. The cold might increase. Today, Wednesday, the maximum temperature will be 24°C and the minimum will be around 13°C.

During this time, the southern districts will experience a strong winter spell. A fog alert is in place for North 24 Parganas, Birbhum, Murshidabad, and Nadia. Similarly, winter will continue in the northern districts. However, there is no chance of rain in Bengal. The weather will remain dry.
