Bipasha Basu was last seen on screen eight years ago in the horror thriller Alone (2015), co-starring Karan Singh Grover. It was his debut, and on the set of this picture, the two first met and fell in love. They got married a year later. In 2020, the duo will star in the online series Dangerous. Bipasha gave birth to a daughter, Devi, in November of last year, and it appears that pregnancy and parenting responsibilities have kept her busy in the previous several months. With her kid approaching a year old, the Dum Maro Dum (2011) and Humshakals (2014) actress is eager to return to her love. "I'll get back to it as soon as possible." I believe my daughter will let me do it. I'm still figuring out how to manage job and motherhood. "That is something I am still learning," she continued.

Bipasha also confessed that her route to pregnancy was not easy, and she couldn't believe it when she found out she was going to be a mother. "I was shocked to learn that I was pregnant." I had been trying for a baby for quite some time. It took me a while to even cry. I can't even put into words how I felt the first time I saw her. The experience was unexplainable. Thank goodness there's a video of it. Nothing could possibly top it," Bipasha recalls.

"There's something new every day," she said of her and Karan's parenting adventure. It's thrilling to see the development of a small human being right in front of your eyes. There are so many firsts for us!"
