Eilat, a coastal town in Israel, was left in utter shock after reports of a 16-year-old being raped by nearly 30 men surfaced.

The heinous crime that took place last week was also filmed by few and police are said to have arrested two accused who also had video footage of the crime.

Following the reports, the country's PM termed this as a "crime against humanity".

The PM reportedly took to Twitter and wrote, "This is shocking; there is no other word. This is not only a crime against the girl, this is a crime against humanity itself that is worthy of all condemnation."  He added, "To the complainant, it's important that I say - my heart is with you, you are not alone."

As per reports, a suspect who was subjected to police interrogation allegedly claimed that 30 men had sex with the girl with her consent.

The two suspects arrested in this connection are in their early 20's and more are expected to be arrested after the PM ordered for the culprits to be brought under the rule book.
