BMTC driver takes accident victim to hospital in bus after ambulance fails to arrive

A police constable met with an accident in Nelamangala. He was bleeding for over an hour but none helped him. A BMTC driver stopped the bus, took him in his vehicle and admitted him to hospital.

Nelamangala: A bike rider who met with an accident was left bleeding on the road in Nelamangala. No passersby or locals came to his rescue nor admitted him to hospital. Even when ambulance was called for, it did not come even after one and a half hours after the accident. But a Bangalore Metropolitan Transport Corporation (BMTC) driver stopped the bus and took the bleeding man to the hospital in the bus. The man is identified as Siddaraju, 36, police constable attached to Karnataka State Industrial Security Force (KSISF). He was returning home from work, when he met with an accident. Currently, Siddaraju is being treated at a hospital in Bengaluru. A case has been filed with Nelamangala Rural Police.
