Punjab girl fights off bike-borne mobile snatchers; video goes viral

In Jalandhar, Punjab, a 15-year-old girl fought with two bike-borne thieves, who attacked her with a sharp weapon and attempted to snatch her phone. CCTV footage shows a resident of Fatehpuri Mohalla Kusum Kumari returning home when two people on a motorbike follow her. The pillion rider tries to snatch away her phone.

However, she manages to follow the thieves, grabs one of them by his t-shirt and drags him off the bike. Though she was attacked with a sharp weapon on her wrist, Kumari doesn’t stop chasing the accused. Finally, a passerby intervenes and rescues the girl. He retrieves the phone after warding of the thief.
