Post violence, shops begin to open in parts of North-East Delhi

Normalcy has gradually started to return in North-East Delhi after the region witnessed violence since Sunday

New Delhi: Normalcy has gradually started to return in North-East Delhi. Shopkeepers started to open their respective shops in North East’s Bhajanpura area on February 28. A shopkeeper said, “My shop was shut since the violence started in the area four-five days ago. Now, it is peaceful as people start to realize that no one will gain anything out of violence.” “Situation became worse. Some people from outside came and ruined the atmosphere here,” another shopkeeper told ANI. No violence has been reported as of now in the North-East part of Delhi.
