Nirbhaya justice: Temple priest burns effigy of convicts hailing the execution

Temple priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana burned the effigy of Nirbhaya convicts today hailing their execution 
 


The four Nirbhaya case convicts have been hanged in Tihar Jail on March 20 at 5:30 in the morning. To celebrate this, a temple priest of Chilkur Balaji Temple in Ranga Reddy district of Telangana burned the effigy of Nirbhaya convicts. The priest told media that Nirbhaya received justice today, even though justice was delayed for seven years. 

The case pertains to the gang-rape and brutalising of a 23-year-old paramedical student in a moving bus on the night of December 16, 2012, by six people including a juvenile in Delhi. She died at a Singapore hospital a few days later.
