Karnataka: Lone wild elephant strays into village, residents in fear of getting trampled

Lone wild elephant goes on village parade. Residents initially were under the impression that it was a trained elephant as it did not harm. Realising it is a wild elephant, villagers then chased it into the fields.

The villagers climbed on their rooftops to see the jumbo parade.

Now after lone elephant spotting at the village, many residents are in fear about the safety as there are chances of return of the pachyderm.
