Google has recently expanded its car crash detection feature for Pixel phones in India. The feature uses location, motion sensors, and surrounding sounds to detect serious accidents and call for emergency assistance.

New York's Greene County and Pennsylvania's Carbon County in the US have experienced an increase in false 911 calls from local ski resorts due to Crash Detection. The Crash Detection feature was recently introduced by the US-based tech giant to its latest iPhone 14, iPhone 14 Pro, and new Apple Watch models.

The Apple iPhone 14's Crash Detection feature is generating issues for a theme park close to Cincinnati, as repeated false positives from iPhones on rides resulted in numerous calls to emergency services.
 

Crash detection feature allows the phone to detect a severe car crash and automatically connects the user to emergency services, along with notifying your contacts. To test this feature there needs to be a legitimate car crash, and a YouTuber did the same. Watch the video here.

Apple Watch Series 8 was being revealed first, with body temperature sensor to help women know when they are ovulating. It also comes with crash detection when driving and support for international roaming. Apple is also bringing a new low-power mode to the Watch Series 4.
 

Apple's latest iPhone 14 models helped rescue two people involved in a serious car accident in California. The accident victims sent an Emergency SOS via iPhone 14 series' Satellite text message to one of Apple's relay centers, they then contacted the authorities for help.
