The Reliance Jio network is allegedly down in several regions of the nation, with thousands of customers going to social media to complain about their inability to access mobile data or make phone calls. Because Jio is a 4G-only network, customers cannot fall back to 3G or 2G.

The hashtag #JioDown is currently trending on Twitter India, with customers contacting the business and uploading images of the network not being available on their phones. This comes less than two days after Facebook, the world's largest social media platform, went offline, bringing down WhatsApp and Instagram with it.

According to Twitter, this network outage appears to have impacted users in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore, and other locations.

The official customer support handle acknowledged network related issues for some queries and  responded with a new generic message that reads, "Sorry for the inconvenience caused to you. We are currently experiencing connectivity issues in your location. Our team is working on the same, and services will be restored as soon as possible."
