A visually impaired woman files complaint against Goddess Banashankari’s saree She claimed that the temple authorities gave her ordinary saree after taking money for the silk saree Will her case be considered as an act of God, or will she get justice?
The management of the temple auctions these sarees to the devotees every month. Now a complaint has been filed with the Endowment Department against the quality of the saree auctioned by the temple management.

Kausalya, a visually impaired woman and a resident of Thyagarajanagara in Bengaluru has filed the complaint. She has stated in her complaint that the management of the Banashankari temple gave her false assurances during the bid and had deceived her since she was visually impaired.
The management had in its bid announced that the silk sarees worth ₹8,000 will be sold for just ₹4,000. Kausalya believed their word and paid ₹4,000 towards the saree.
But when she received it, she was shocked as first of all it was not a silk saree at all and the quality was so poor that the material could not have cost more than ₹800.
So far no one has filed any complaint against the temple management, especially about their auctioning of sarees.
Will getting the wrong saree be termed as her ill-fate or action will be initiated against the ones who cheated the woman, only the time will say.
In fact, what would be Goddess Banashankari’s take on the temple making money tagging her name to the sarees and auctioning them? OMG, hope the case is not set aside as an act of God and Kausalya gets justice.
