World's largest hotel to come up in Saudi in 2017

  • The Abraj Kudai hotel is set to become the largest hotel in the world in Mecca, Saudi Arabia.
  • It is said to have 10,000 rooms among other amenities
  • It is being built on a budget of 3.5 billion

The Abraj Kudai hotel is set to become the largest hotel in the world.  
 

It boasts of 10, 000 rooms and 70 restaurants. Besides this, it is said to also create four helipads, 12 towers and a rooftop. Apart from this, there will be a conference centre, a bus stand, parking slots, and a shopping mall.
 

That’s not all, a large dome will also be a hallmark of this hotel. Between this dome will lie a convention centre coupled with a ballroom.
 

This ultra-luxury hotel has been designed by Dar Al-Handasah group, and is said to built at a massive cost of $3.5 billion.

 

According to The Telegraph,  this hotel is  “built a mile south of the world's largest mosque and Islam's most sacred site, the Masjid al-Haram, is modelled on a ‘traditional desert fortress.’”
 

5 floors will be exclusively reserved for the royal Saudi family.
