Kerala High Court has reserved its verdict on the third bail plea submitted by Dileep in actress attack case. During the hearing, prosecutor opposed the plea and presented fresh evidence proving that the actor tried to influence witnesses.
The Special Investigation Team (SIT) probing the case, informed the court that the situations have not changed. The court inquired about the mobile phone, which prime accused Pulsar Suni had used for recording the visuals of the attack. To this, prosecution replied that it is the main issue faced by the probing team.

Clarifying the current stage of the investigation, the prosecution submitted that the police is yet to take the statement of four persons from the film industry, including singer Rimi Tomy. The SIT has so far recorded the statement of 21 persons. There are more persons to be questioned, and the probe team is yet to get the forensic report. The investigation is in the crucial stage, the prosecution informed the court.
It was submitted that Dileep had offered ₹1.5 crore to Pulsar Suni. The actor was expecting a benefit of ₹65 crores. Pulsar Suni had revealed this to his jail inmate Vipin Lal.
The prime accused was planning to surrender before the court after getting the quotation amount. However, he changed his decision as per the opinion of his accomplice. The person who is named tenth accused in the first charge sheet has already confessed that the quotation was given by Dileep, the prosecution submitted before the court.
The police also informed the court that Dileep tried to influence witnesses. They pointed out that the main eyewitness who stated that Pulsar Suni had visited Kavya's Laksyah has changed his stance. This proves that the actor is capable of influencing the witnesses and tamper with the evidence even while in remand, the police report that was submitted before the court says.

Meanwhile, Dileep's lawyer informed the court that they are not even aware of the charges against the actor. He also argued that they are ready to accept any condition set by the court for granting bail.
The counsel also argued that the police is conducting the probe based on the statements given by Pulsar Suni and that the probe team has failed to find any new evidence against the actor. The court is denying bail as the police failed to recover the mobile phone used by prime accused to record the visuals of attack. The counsel also submitted that the situation has changed and hence the actor shall be granted bail.
