A man allegedly bit off parts of his wife’s face during a heated argument over a domestic dispute in Uttar Pradesh’s Hamirpur, leaving her critically injured. The couple reportedly had frequent quarrels over minor issues. On the day of the incident, the accused husband returned home in the evening and soon got into another argument with his wife. As tempers flared, the situation escalated dramatically, and the man, in a fit of rage, attacked his wife and viciously bit her nose and part of her cheek, leaving her severely injured. She was rushed to a nearby hospital, where doctors gave her emergency treatment and stitched her facial wounds with 12 stitches.
Given the severity of her injuries, she was later referred to a medical college in Jhansi for advanced care.
Doctors treating her revealed that her nose has been nearly destroyed, and significant tissue damage to her cheek has caused severe facial disfigurement. They have advised plastic surgery after a period of recovery.

Following the incident, the woman’s brother filed a complaint with the police against the accused. Police have registered a case and launched an investigation. The accused husband fled the scene, leaving his phone behind, and is currently on the run as police continue their search.
