Karnataka bypolls: Darshan begins campaign for Munirathna
Actor Darshan, who is also a resident of RR Nagar, will campaign for Munirathna on Friday. It is reported that the Sandalwood star will campaign for the BJP candidate all day in RR Nagar.

It is reported that the Sandalwood star will campaign for the BJP candidate all day in RR Nagar and is expected to campaign till 9pm.
Speaking to the media Darshan stated “Munirathna has helped the residents of RR Nagar during these tough times. He has been a great support to all of us in RR Nagar during the COVID-19 pandemic. I believe in humanity and have come to support Munirathna for the person he is. I am not here to campaign for any party or here to support him because he is a film producer”.
Several residents of RR Nagar have gathered at Yeshwantpur Railway Ground where Darshan will begin his campaign just to have a glimpse of the actor.
BJP candidate from RR Nagar Munirathna himself is a known Kannada film producer. While on Tuesday, actor Shruthi campaigned for him.

On Wednesday, it was the turn of actor-turned politician Kushboo Sundar who recently joined the BJP. Kushboo participated in a roadshow at Laggere.
Actors Malavika Avinash and Ganesh are among the stars who reside here. Malavika and Ganesh’s wife Shilpa are BJP members.
While several actors are campaigning for the producer turned politician the residents of RR Nagar are equally supportive.
Speaking to Asianet Kannada many residents claimed that Munirathna has been a great help to them during the COVID-19 pandemic and they want him to win.
