A fresh case of suspected coronavirus has been reported from Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital. The woman, who had travelled from France has been placed in isolation in the new complex at Bowring and Lady Curzon Hospital and Medical College.

"The lady was rushed to hospital by health officials at 6:00 pm yesterday. The virus was detected during the scanning process at Kempegowda International Airport. We had kept one floor to isolate patients suffering with coronavirus and this lady has become the first patient. Her condition is being monitored and she is responding well to symptomatic treatment," said an official.

Health officials are keeping a check on every hospital and the state government has declared holidays in schools for students up to 5th standard. All offices and workspaces have been instructed to take preventive measures.
