64-year-old Hyderabad man harasses surrogate mother, gets arrested
The accused, Surappa Raju, had a desire to have a son after having three daughters. He thus hired a surrogate mother.
On February 20, a 64-year-old man was arrested by Punjagutta Police in Hyderabad for harassing his child's surrogate mother.
It is reported that the accused had paid the woman Rs 5 lakh to be a surrogate mother.
The accused is identified as Surappa Raju. Sources say, Raju had a desire to have a son after having three daughters, and so he hired a woman to be a surrogate mother.
Later on, he began to harass the woman to live with him. Reacting to this, the woman said that she needs more time to think.
When she refused to reply, the accused started calling and disturbing her. Unable to bear this, the woman along with her husband filed a complaint at the police station.
