In an interview with The Indian Express, Aishwarya Rai said, "I danced with her from second grade to seventh grade and ever since then, dancing became my way of life. I knew what I was experiencing with her, from her would remain a part of me always. I am very emotional right now. There’s no bigger joy than to see your guru perform and if she does for you, then it becomes a different honour."

Equally emotional, Lata was all applause for her student even as she expressed her desire to teach dance Aaradhya. Here what she said, to The Indian Express, "I have seen the growth Aishwarya has undergone in her life. She is the perfect daughter to her parents. She is a beautiful partner to her husband. And when I saw her taking Aaradhya to Cannes, it made me proud of her. Usually, the kids keep waiting for the attention when their parents are at the peak of their career, but that’s not the case with Ash. It’s been an honour to teach Aishwarya, and now, I wish to teach Aaradhya!"

On the work front, Aishwarya has started work on her next, Fanney Khan, which also stars Anil Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao. Directed by Atul Manjrekar and produced by Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra, KriArj Entertai nment and T-Series, Fanney Khan is slated for an April 2018 release.
