She is one of the few heroines whose stardom is evergreen. Last week, a blockbuster movie with Telugu superstar Chiranjeevi Khaidi No. 150 was released. As per the reports, the film has netted ₹ 120 crore at the box office till date. The producer of the film, Allu Aravind, confirmed that the movie had grossed ₹ 100-crore mark in the opening weekend.

The actress first appeared in Bollywood movie - Kyun! Ho Gaya Na... along with Aishwarya Rai. In this film she played the role of her sister. Later, she went to South film industry and especially Kollywood (Tamil film Industry), where she gained further recognition by featuring as the female lead in the high-profile Tamil projects like Naan Mahaan Alla, Maattrraan, Thuppakki, Jilla, and eventually emerged as a leading actress in Kollywood.

Kajal came back to Bollywood with Ajay Devgan's Singham which was a blockbuster while her Special 26 with Akshay Kumar was also a box-office success.

Kajal has a younger sister named Nisha Agarwal, who is also a South Indian actress, working in Telugu, Tamil and Malayalam cinemas.

She won many awards for her Telugu movie Thupakki which was directed by ace filmmaker A R Murugadoss in 2012. The film was rated as one of the best of Kajal's films till date. Later, the movie was remade in Hindi as Holiday: A Soldier is Never Off Duty starring Akshay Kumar.

Another Telugu film Magadheera which released in 2009. In this film, she was paired opposite superstar Ram Charan Teja. The movie was a historical drama and was directed by S S Rajamouli.

Now to sum it up, Kajal is one of the actresses in Southern film industry who has shared the silver screen space with all top notch South Indian actors either from the Kollywood, Tollywood or Bollywood.
