Her friend was shocked to see her unconscious and called the authorities.
Kim Sae Ron started her career as a child artist and rose to fame gradually. Her global fanbase was her biggest support. Kim's death left the whole Korean entertainment industry in shock.

Her former agency, GOLDMEDALIST, reacts to her sudden death. They said, ''We express our deepest condolences upon hearing the sad news of Kim Sae Ron. May she rest in peace." Kim Sae Ron started working with the agency Goldmedalist in 2020 after she finished her 4-year contract with the previous agency. Kim's contract was finished in 2022. Her time with the gold medalist was very short, but the agency was not ready to renew the contract any further. It is because of the drunk driving case that went viral all over.
Reportedly, she was drunk, and she crashed into a guardrail, a tree, and a power converter device in Gangnam-gu, southern Seoul, and attempted to escape the scene. After this incident, Kim Sae Ron publicly apologized multiple times, but she was fined 20 million KRW and her driving license was blocked. Due to this, she was replaced in the project that she signed earlier.

She recently wrapped her shoot for the upcoming project 'Guitar Man,' which is in the post-production stage. The director of this film recently reacted to Kim Sae Ron's sudden death. He said, ''Among the actors who appeared in the movie, she had the most acting experience and was like an acting teacher." Besides guiding the juniors, she also tried to cheer them up and "always made being on set fun." He described Kim Sae as Bright and easygoing and he also said they were feeling very sad for the shocking news.
Her last project, Bloodhound, in 2023 got her a significant appreciation. Close sources also revealed that Kim was planning to give a strong comeback for her fans. But this incident is unfortunate and left everyone in shock.
