Dalit beaten to death after his DJ friend refused to play Sapna Chaudhary's song at wedding party
Wedding party turned tragic for DJ and his team as drunk youth beat him and killed one of his support group members to death. The incident happened in Bulandshahr. Group of youth in drunken stupor asked the Dalit DJ to play Sapna Chaudhary's song, however, when the DJ refused, he was dragged and beaten, the support group which tried to intervene also was beaten up and the fight resulted in a Dalit man's death.
FollowUttar Pradesh which is known for rising crime rates, witnessed a murder at wedding party for trivial reason like turning down the request to play a song of Sapna Chaudhary.
The incident happened on Monday midnight when drunk youths asked the DJ to play a particular number from Haryana's singer and dancer Sapna Chaudhary's album.
As the DJ said he does not have the particular number, the youths dragged and beat him up. The support group including a Dalit who came to the DJ's rescue were beaten. Unfotunately the Dalit man collapsed and died on Tuesday. A case was registered in this regard.
Despite eyewitnesses claiming the attack on the victim, the police, however, claim that the victim died of a heart attack while trying to intervene.
