Legendary former Indian skipper MS Dhoni is back with Team India, as he is in a whole new role. For the first time, he would be mentoring the side as the team prepares for the 2021 ICC World T20 in Oman and United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) recently shared some pictures of the same. In the photos, he is seen interacting with Team India coaches Ravi Shastri (head coach), Vikram Rathour (batting coach), Bharat Arun (bowling coach) and R Sridhar (fielding coach).

Dhoni is seen mimicking a batting stance, as he seems to be explaining something to the coaches, which could possibly be a style of batting training. "Did he ever leave us? NO @mahi7781 is back with #TeamIndia and in a new role this time. 💪" BCCI captioned the pictures.

The entire team was also seen in a huddle during its first practice session on Sunday in Dubai, with Dhoni presumably interacting with the side somewhere in the huddle, as he is not visible. "We. Are. Back! #TeamIndia👊", captioned BCCI.

India would be taking on England in its first warm-up match at the ICC Academy Ground in Dubai, followed by Australia on Wednesday. India would get its campaign underway in the Super 12s, against arch-rival Pakistan on Sunday, followed by Afghanistan, New Zealand and a couple of qualifiers, having been placed in Group 2.
