Czech luxury carmaker Skoda is reportedly preparing to launch new models in India.

According to a recent listing on the Ministry of Commerce and Industry's Patent Design and Trademark Portal, the company has registered five new product names for the Indian market

According to a report in the Hindustan Times, the registered names include Konarq, Kliq, Karmiq, Kosmiq, and Kushaq.

The name 'Kliq' was previously rumored for the upcoming production version of the Skoda Vision IN SUV, but although new names are emerging recently, Skoda is likely to look for more options for its next SUV.

According to Skoda's previous naming strategy, the company starts with the alphabet K and uses names ending in a Q reserved for its SUV lineup, for example - Skoda Kodiaq, Karoq, and Kamiq.

If so, any of the newly-registered names can be picked for the production-spec Vision IN. The company also plans to build more SUVs in the Indian market.
