Due to technical problems, Ola S1 electric scooter sale postponed to September 15
It had previously stated that the scooter would be available for order on September 8, with real deliveries beginning in October.
The sale of Ola Electric's electric scooter S1 has been delayed by a week until September 15 due to "technical problems" in making the website for sales available to consumers on Wednesday. The Ola S1 electric scooter was introduced this month in two models — S1 and S1 Pro — for Rs 99,999 and Rs 1,29,999, respectively (ex-showroom including FAME II subsidy and excluding state subsidies). It had previously stated that the scooter would be available for order on September 8, with real deliveries beginning in October.
Ola Chairman and Group CEO Bhavish Aggarwal announced late last night on Twitter that the buying process had been postponed by a week and will begin on September 15. He stated that the business is dedicated to beginning purchases for our Ola S1 scooter as soon as possible. However, they had several technical issues in launching the purchasing website today.
Aggarwal reminded consumers that the firm had created a digital purchasing path, including a fully digital lending procedure requiring documentation.

Ola Electric offered pre-launch bookings for their electric scooters for Rs 499 in July, and they received 1 lakh orders in less than 24 hours. The firm, however, has not stated how many orders it has received thus far.
With the introduction of its first electric scooter, Ola S1, on August 15, the business publicly declared its entry into the green mobility market. The scooter comes in ten distinct colours and has an in-house built 8.5 KW motor and 3.97 kWh battery pack. Ola is constructing a 500-acre manufacturing facility in Tamil Nadu. In the first phase, the business said that it would begin with a 10 lakh annual manufacturing capacity and subsequently scale it up to a 20 lakh capacity based on market demand. Ola Electric stated that once finished; the facility will have an annual capacity of one crore units, or "15 per cent of the world's total two-wheeler output."
