Bigg Boss 16: Has the house split between TV actors and others?

The last few episodes of Bigg Boss 16 have shown a few contestants, career-shaming television actors, on the show. Recently, Salman Khan also called out Manya Singh for taking a jibe at Sreejita De over the same. Has the house already been split into two groups of television actors and non-television actors?

The new season of television's much-loved and controversial reality show, Bigg Boss, has been entertaining the audience since it premiered on October 1. With every episode of BB-16, the contestants have been displaying a high-voltage drama that is filled with fights, arguments and also, and career-shaming one another.

Hosted by Bollywood star Salman Khan, Bigg Boss 16 has seen a few unfortunate episodes of contestants career-shaming one another in the house. The last episode of the show saw a fierce fight between the contestants which made even Bigg Boss interfere.

In Tuesday's episode, an argument broke out between television actor Sreejita De and Rajasthani-Haryanavi dancer Gori Nagori. A fight was also seen between former Miss Bikini India, Archana Gautam and Bhojpuri actor Soundarya Sharma. What was common between the two fights is that they were all career-shaming one another.

On the other hand, filmmaker Sajid Khan, while talking about the situation in the house, said that two groups have formed in Bigg Boss 16 house – one of the TV actors and the other group of non-TV actors which also includes him. Sajid was talking about how both the groups are judging and calling out each other on the basis of their careers and backgrounds which is leading to frequent drama and fights inside the house.

The groupism and career shaming did not go unnoticed by Bigg Boss. He called in the house’s captain, Gautam Vig, and said that every contestant is equal in the house, highlighting that no discrimination will be entertained on the show. Along with this, he also asked Gautam to nominate the guilty members of the dispute in the house, based on which he nominated Gori Nagori, MC Stan, Sreejita De and Tina Datta for this week. Apart from these four contestants, television actor, Shaleen Bhanot has also been nominated for this week’s eviction.
