The facelifted Hyundai Creta 2022 will make its global debut at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show 2021 next month (GIIAS). Hyundai Motors has issued a teaser for the forthcoming Creta facelift ahead of its formal introduction. The teasers indicate that the new Creta will have a significantly altered front aspect. The grille will most likely have a smoother form that extends to the SUV's borders.
It implies that the forthcoming model will have LED headlights that are more detailed in a vertical configuration lower in the bumper and have a beautiful black finish. The grille will incorporate LED DRLs with adjustable jewel designs. When the lights are switched on, it takes on the shape of a boomerang. The new Creta will most likely come equipped with a Bose premium sound system, a panoramic sunroof, and a new 10.25-inch TFT LCD cluster with sophisticated capabilities. With sharper-looking alloy wheels, the bodywork will appear somewhat redesigned.
LED tail lighting at the back will be extended inward to provide a unified design. Bluelink, a technology that allows people to connect their automobiles and cellphones, will be available on the Creta. The SUV will have safety features such as Stolen Vehicle Tracking and Stolen Vehicle Immobilization, and a specific Valet Parking Mode. The Hyundai Creta 2022 will most likely be powered by a 1.5-litre petrol engine with 144Nm, a 1.4-litre turbo-petrol engine with 242Nm, and a 1.5-litre diesel engine with 250Nm. In addition to the 6-speed manual, there is a CVT, a 6-speed automatic, and a 7-speed DCT.
The Hyundai Creta is scheduled to go on sale in India in mid-2022. The current Creta has priced between Rs 10.16 lakh to Rs 17.78 lakh. Over this, the new version may earn a hike/premium of Rs 30,000 to 45,000.
