Volkswagen Taigun launched in India, prices start from Rs 10.49 lakh; Details inside

Volkswagen India has revealed the Taigun pricing in India, which starts at Rs 10.49 lakh (ex-showroom, India) and goes up to Rs 17.49 lakh (all prices ex-showroom, India).  The new Taigun SUV is the first vehicle manufactured for India under Volkswagen's SUVW product line. It underpins the new mid-size SUV from the German automaker, boasting a striking appearance, luxurious interior, improved engine options, and the latest technologies to make it an overall package.

The new Taigun is manufactured locally from the manufacturer's plant in Chakan, resulting in competitive price. The new Taigun has a striking front end with a chrome grille, a new VW emblem in the centre, and LED headlights to round off the front.

Only the Taigun's mid and top-spec models come with auto LED DRLs. The aggressive style is carried over to the rear portion, which includes an LED tail lamp. The new Taigun is available in five exterior colours: Curcuma Yellow, Candy White, Wild Cherry Red, Carbon Steel Grey, and Reflex Silver.

The new Taigun's interior has a luxury look with a contemporary dashboard, décor inserts, and storage areas at all key locations. The ambient lighting, as well as the ventilated front seats, are excellent touches. The Taigun's digital cockpit incorporates a 10-inch touchscreen infotainment system, compatible with Apple Carplay and Android Auto.
