2023 Hyundai Creta facelift bookings begin in Malaysia; Here are all details

Hyundai’s second-generation Creta SUV made its debut in March 2020. Since its introduction, the Hyundai Creta has been one of India's best-selling small SUVs. Although the present model is immensely popular in India, it has been on the market for some time and need a refresh. The next-generation Creta, which was initially shown at the Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show (GIIAS) 2021, has piqued the interest of SUV aficionados in India.

According to recent reports, Hyundai will shortly offer the facelifted Creta in Malaysia. The South Korean automaker has already begun accepting reservations in the Malaysian market. The updated Creta is already available in Indonesia and Thailand.

The 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift will include significant visual modifications, new amenities, and enhanced safety systems. It is designed in the style of Tucson. The new SUV has the iconic parametric grille with integrated LED daytime running lights around the edges. The 2023 Hyundai Creta will get a revised tailboard with LED taillights in the shape of a boomerang.

The Malaysia-bound Creta will offer a slew of creature conveniences such as front and rear parking assistance, tilt and telescopic steering adjustment, LED headlights, LED tail lights, LED DRLs, 6 airbags, ABS, ESC, ISOFIX, and hill assist.

The 2023 Hyundai Creta facelift has a luxury all-black interior accented by a 10.25-inch fully digital instrument cluster. The new Creta's 8-inch touchscreen display is equipped with Hyundai's BlueLink connected car technology and supports Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.

Malaysian specifications Creta will be powered by a 1.5-liter normally aspirated petrol engine producing 113 horsepower and 143.8 Nm of torque. Customers will have a choice of five exterior colours: Galaxy Blue Pearl, Titan Grey Metallic, Midnight Black Pearl, Creamy White Pearl, and Dragon Red Pearl.
