New Complaint App to come into use for TTD Devotees
- Tirumala Temple devotees can lodge in their complaints to the authorities through an app
- The app is under creation by TCS company
- The devotees already have a toll free number and a whatsapp number for their complaints
FollowTirumala Tirupathi Devasthanam authorities reported to the High Court about a new app under construction for the use of devotees to lodge their various complaints. The app is being created by TCS Company and will come into use shortly.
Any complaint can be lodged through the app and they can also track their complaint and the measures being taken regarding the complaint. The devotees are already aware of a toll free number and a Whatsapp number for their complaints.
A PIL was filed in High Court by Chittoor Parihar Seva Samithi against the TTD authorities. In the PIL the Samithi filed that vendors in Tirumala are selling things at a higher rate and when they took the matter to the authorities, there was no response.
The lawyer, on behalf of TTD, Sivaraju Srinivas informed the High Court about the app and all the precautions the authorities were undertaking to make the devotees visit a pleasant one.
The PIL had come for hearing many times and it again came up on Tuesday and the bench under temporary Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan postponed the next hearing to December 5.
