AP CM Chandrababu slighted by Telangana CM KCR by not inviting for Metro Rail inauguration

Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu overlooked by Telangana CM K Chandrasekhar Rao as he was not invited to the inauguration of the most prestigious project of the Telugu states - the Metro Rail Project. The inauguration will take place in the afternoon of Tuesday in the hands of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Chandrababu was the creator behind the Metro Rail Project in 2002 after which departed CM YS Rajasekhar Reddy continued the works of the project. After YSR's death in 2009 the project was put on hold because of Telangana movement and KCR was against the Metro project then.

After bifurcation of Telangana in 2014, KCR government completed the project which, by then, was near completion and so took credit for the whole thing.

Hyderabad is the combined capital of AP and Telangana and by protocol Chandrababu should be invited which KCR neglected. Chandrababu had the courtesy to invite KCR for the new capital city Amaravathi foundation but KCR missed. This slight of the CM of AP by the CM of Telangana is causing friction in AP among its ministers, leaders and people of AP.
