Rajnath said: "It was a smooth and comfortable flight in the indigenously built Light Combat Helicopter (LCH). It can fly in any terrain, weather, and altitude; it can attack. Our motto is 'Make in India, Make for the World'. 'Prachand' is capable of sending a message to the adversary."

Defence Minister Rajnath Singh on Monday said that decision on Pakistan-occupied Kashmir (PoK) should have been taken during 1971 war between India and the neighbouring country. 

PM Modi is also scheduled to launch the National Logistic Policy today at Vigyan Bhawan. The logistic policy is aimed at bringing down the logistic costs and improving the competitiveness of domestic goods in the global market.

Rajnath and his Mongolian counterpart Lt Gen Saikhanbayar Gursed discussed ways to further enhance the bilateral defence engagements. Amidst fast-evolving global scenario, the two defence ministers also discussed the matter pertaining to regional and global issues of mutual interest.

"I appeared for the examination of the Short Service Commission. I gave the written exam. But, because of certain situations in my family, including the death of my father, I couldn't join the Army,' Rajnath Singh said.

"I come from a particular political party (BJP), and I do not want to criticise him. I also do not raise questions about any prime minister's intentions. Because I know that the intentions of any prime minister could not be wrong. There can be issues with their policies," Defence Minister Rajnath Singh said.
