Bharatiya Janata Party candidate from West Bengal's East Midnapore Ashok Dinda was granted Y+ category security after being attacked by a mob in Moyna district.
From now on, about 20 CRPF jawans will surround the BJP candidate to wherever he goes for campaigning in the state.
The decision to provide Dinda y plus security was made after he was attacked while on his way back from campaigning for the ongoing assembly elections in the state on Tuesday (March 30).
Ashok Dinda also mocked the Trinamool as a 'gangster company'. The BJP candidate has also claimed that no one will support the Trinamool after this incident. The second round of voting will take place on Thursday (April 1). Dinda also said that he will visit the booths.
He further alleged that the Trinamool had hired thugs from outside and carried out such acts. It's like a pre-planned attack. The BJP candidate from Moyna district also said that he survived the attack by luck.
