Since the introduction of live video interviews on television during the epidemic last year, several gaffes and amusing events have been recorded on camera. There have also been occasions where the individual on camera's family members became the source of severe humiliation.  A video recently went viral in which a bored child took on the duty of embarrassing his father. Jacob Funk Kirkegaard, a senior fellow at the German Marshall Fund, appeared on Bloomberg TV live discussing the departure of Bundesbank President Jens Weidmann. Kirkegaard's son decided to add some spice to the conversation as the interview progressed.

Kirkegaard's son emerges out of nowhere behind him in the popular video and begins dancing, leaping, and making faces at the camera. While Kirkegaard did his best to continue speaking without responding to his kid's antics, the TV presenter couldn't help but interrupt and ask, "Does your son work for the Greek government?" Kirkegaard chuckles and responds, "It is really difficult to repress children."

This is just one of many embarrassing moments recorded on live television. Earlier this year, a South African political leader was left red-faced after a nude lady came into his Zoom call during a Parliamentary meeting. On March 30, Xolile Ndevu, a member of the National House of Traditional Leaders, was in the middle of a Zoom call meeting with 23 other leaders. The purpose of the conference was to address the COVID-10 killings in South Africa.  The meeting, however, had to be called to a halt when a woman unexpectedly strolled in nude. After the unexpected apparition, an embarrassed Ndevu profusely apologised, and the Zoom conference had to be interrupted as a result of the gaffe. During the meeting, others were amused by the woman's looks.
