Hyderabad: Tahsildar caught red-handed with Rs 1 Crore bribe

Hyderabad: On August 14, the Anti-Corruption Bureau caught a tahsildar while accepting a bribe of Rs 1.1 crore. According to sources, Tahsildar Nagaraju allegedly demanded a bribe for favouring a real estate firm. Few accomplices of the accused officer have also been taken into custody.
 
ACB officers arrived at his house based on a tip-off and found huge amounts of cash. According to the reports, Nagaraju was earlier arrested in another case of unaccounted money.
