Woman jumps off moving vehicle but leaves her friend at the mercy of molesters

FollowIn a pathetic incident, two women were offered a lift in a car but were molested on the way. The woman closest to the door jumped from the car and saved herself while her friend was raped and robbed by the miscreants.
A 33-year-old woman from Champapet along with her 30-year-old friend from LB Nagar were waiting for a bus near Saibaba Temple in Dilshuknagar to go to Hayathnagar.
They were offered a lift in a car by the men who promised to drop them at Hayathnagar. But immediately after getting into the car, the three drunken miscreants molested the two women. When they requested the vehicle to be stopped, the men didn’t hear their pleas but continued past their destination.
The woman closest to the door jumped from the moving vehicle at Pedda Amberpet and sustained injuries. She immediately made an SOS call to 100 and the Rachakonda police launched a massive search to trace the victim who was found at an isolated location near the ORR (Outer Ring Road).
Police said they drove her to an isolated location, raped her and fled with her mobile phone and Rs 2000 cash. The police shifted her to a hospital and registered a case against the three suspects.
A case of kidnap, rape, outraging the modesty of woman and confinement along with charges of the Criminal Amendment Act was booked against three persons.Â
