RGV compares Revanth to Baahubali, irks Chiranjeevi fans

FollowControversial ace director Ram Gopal Varma is once again in news for his comments on Revanth Reddy joining Congress. He took to his Facebook to post his appreciation and a picture of Revanth in Chiranjeevi’s still.
Telangana former TDP leader Revanth Reddy resigned from TDP and joined Congress in the presence of its Vice President Rahul Gandhi recently. Expressing his happiness over his decision, RGV posted on Facebook,
“I am very very happy that Revanth joined Congress. My faith in Congress has resurrected with Revanth Reddy joining it.
“If Congress Party was a film theatre, then Revanth Reddy is Baahubali. Baahubali rained money at the Box office and Revanth Reddy will rain votes for Congress”.
RGV also posted Revanth in Chiranjeevi’s re-entry film stills. He morphed Chiranjeevi’s face with that of Revanth. This earned criticism as many fans of Chiranjeevi were not happy with RGV using Chiru’s still. They trolled him on FB conveying their dissention over his using their hero’s stills.
