One of the most talented actresses in recent time is Malayali beauty Nithya Menon, who worked in very few but commendable films in Tollywood. She debuted opposite Nani in the romcom Ala Modalaindhi.
She carved a niche for herself in the Telugu filmdom and acted in all the languages in the South. Nithya had earned reviews and awards and critical acclamation for her various performances.
Nithya is very choosy about her films and prefers to act in a small role if it has scope for her acting ability. She is cast as one of the three heroines in the recent Tamil film Mersal and it is rumoured that she had involved herself in the script.
When Nithya was questioned about this in a recent interview, she clarified that she looked into the cinema content and that she will work in a film if her role is good and wouldn’t interfere in anything else.
Nithya, at present, is working in the multilingual film Prana directed by VK Prakash. The film is said to be a thriller set in the backdrop of a hill station in the South.
