Hyderabad Teenager runs drug empire through Snapchat arrested

A 19-year-old college student has been arrested by Task Force sleuths and Narayanguda police in Hyderabad for running a drug racket in the city.

Yash Sunkara, a BBA student of St Paul's Degree College in Himayatnagar was arrested along with a Nigerian national staying in Goa, Agala Alumah Friday, and Abid Nazir, a Kashmiri from Goa.

The Times of India reported that Yash Sunkara used to visit Goa frequently and during one such visit, a year ago, he met Abid. Yash purchased LSD from him and slowly became friends with him.

Yash started procuring drugs from Abid to sell them in Hyderabad. "Yash used to inform his clients through Snapchat and would take order for narcotics from them," DCP, Task Force, P Radha Kishan Rao told Times of India.

Abid, in turn, purchased drugs from Nigerian peddler Agala Alumah Friday.

A few days ago, Yash asked Abid to bring LSD and charas to Hyderabad as several customers were asking for the drugs. As per the request, Abid Nazir and Agala Aluma came to the city along with the contraband. While they were about to handover the drugs to Yash, police arrested them at Madhushala Bar & Resturant in Hyderguda.

On interrogating the Nigerian national, the police found out that Agala Alumah Friday came to India on a two-month tourist visa in May, 2013, and did not return.
